The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michaels smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Michaels feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Root's calf.
Root takes a swing at Michaels's ribcage but misses.

Root closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Michaels did well to prevent Root getting side control.
