Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cody Fry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sheldon Labasan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fry comes to the cage accompanied by Rain - Trivium. Sheldon Labasan struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Sheldon Labasan will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Cody Fry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sheldon Labasan!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Labasan as Fry shoots in.
Labasan drops Fry with a right and a left! Labasan comes rushing in but Fry regains his composure and manages to keep Labasan in guard.
Fry is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fry is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Oh Fry is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fry manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Labasan manages to get himself to full guard.
Labasan should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Labasan throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Fry seems to have got his legs back now.
Fry tries to free his leg and advance position but Labasan is retaining full guard.
Fry trying to control the position from guard on top but Labasan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Labasan is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Fry is controlling him.
Fry will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Fry throwing strikes from guard but Labasan blocks nicely.

Fry sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Labasan's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fry lands with a punch from half guard.
Labasan tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Fry manages to move to mount!
Fry goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Labasan turns into him and now he's in Fry's guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Fry holds on and takes a little breather.

Fry tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Fry pulls Labasan in close to prevent any damage.
Labasan would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fry lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Labasan!
Labasan is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
BOOM! Fry connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Fry raining down hammerfists from mount.
Labasan looks gassed!
Fry tries to control but Labasan wriggling away.
Fry landing punches.

Fry looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
A big strike lands for Fry! That's really hurt Labasan and he's turned his back - Fry keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Fry jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Cody Fry tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
