Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vasyl Kondor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Davide Moratti! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kondor is trying hard to land a takedown here. Moratti sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Kondor gets caught flat footed, as Moratti shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Moratti working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Kondor had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Moratti defends it easily. Kondor is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Moratti is aware though and is defending well. Moratti throws a strike but Kondor rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Kondor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moratti swivels though and keeps the full guard. Moratti is looking to stand up but Kondor isn't so interested in that idea. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Moratti keeping moving, preventing Kondor from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moratti is looking to stand up but Kondor isn't so interested in that idea. Kondor loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kondor missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Moratti manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Moratti manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kondor on his heels. He'll look to pass Kondor's guard now, I'm sure. Kondor has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Moratti can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Moratti pushing down on Kondor's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moratti looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kondor with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Moratti tries to pass to full mount but Kondor defends it. Kondor looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Kondor tries to get to full guard but Moratti has control of the leg. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Moratti seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Kondor blocking the ground and pound attempt from Moratti. Moratti working Kondor over with strikes. Moratti prevents Kondor from improving his position. Moratti is nestled in close to Kondor, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moratti working the head and body with strikes. Kondor taking some punishment here, with Moratti in his half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Moratti lands a nice short elbow. Moratti wants to pass the guard but Kondor is defending well. Moratti has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Moratti working the ground and pound effectively.

That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kondor taking shots to the head. Moratti lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Kondor hang on?
Kondor is rocked! Oooh a big shot lands for Moratti! Kondor is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!
