Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yuki Satou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yuki Satou!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Josh Williams!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Satou throws a sloppy head kick and Williams moves out of range easily.
Satou shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Williams as he jumps to the side.
Williams throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Satou's waist but Satou gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Williams off to one side.
Satou tries a head kick but it misses.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Satou enables Williams to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Satou manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Williams is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Satou controls Williams momentarily but Williams frees himself.
Williams tries to free his leg and advance position but Satou is retaining full guard.

Williams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Satou swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Satou keeping moving, preventing Williams from controlling successfully.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Williams throws a head kick that misses
and Satou counters with a big head kick but Williams shrugs it off.

Williams decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Satou manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Williams trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Williams thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Satou had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Williams defends it easily.
Williams wants to pass the guard but Satou is keeping the position.
Williams is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Williams trying to control the position from guard on top but Satou is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Williams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Satou swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Williams tries to free his leg and advance position but Satou is retaining full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Josh Williams hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
The fight stays on the outside here - Williams looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Satou gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Williams to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Williams wants to pass the guard but Satou is keeping the position.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Williams is looking for a kimura but Satou is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Williams to get the leverage.

Williams closes the distance and clinches up with Satou, looking for a takedown. Williams pushes Satou against the cage but Satou circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Williams misses with a takedown attempt - Satou sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

so Satou counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Satou decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Williams stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Satou forces Williams back against the cage and clinches.
Williams is looking to take this one to the mat.
Williams gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Satou.
Williams is working for takedown but Satou is calmly controlling the position for now.

With the fighters up against the cage, Satou throws an elbow but misses.

Williams pulls guard successfully.
Satou trying to stand up but can't free himself from Williams's guard.

Satou avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Satou wants to stand but Williams is controlling his posture from full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Williams controls Satou momentarily but Satou frees himself.

Yuki Satou has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Williams looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Satou slaps away a takedown attempt from Williams, before circling back to the center of the mat.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Yuki Satou dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Satou works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Satou tries to clinch but Williams is having none of it.

Williams shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Satou as he avoids it easily.

Williams has hold of one of Satou's legs. Satou is fighting the takedown attempt but Williams gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Williams takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Satou is looking to sweep but instead, Williams has passed into half guard.

Satou is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Williams swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Satou is now in Williams's guard. A big mistake from Williams there, giving up the dominant position!
Satou won't allow Williams to sweep him here.

Williams is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Yuki Satou.

Satou gets a takedown into half guard.
Satou is looking to advance position but Williams won't allow it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Williams tries to roll over but Satou keeps him under control.
Satou sitting and controlling from the half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Yuki Satou wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Satou pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Williams shoots in for a double leg but Satou sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Yuki Satou has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josh Williams.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Yuki Satou.
I think Satou has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
