And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Salvador Cannon!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jonathan Paton and Eddie Farnsworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cannon misses with a hook
and Holmes counters with a leg kick.
Holmes scores with a spinning back kick!
Cannon looks to throw the jab but Holmes is out of range.
Holmes moves out of range as Cannon strikes.
Cannon walks into a left hand.
Cannon misses with a right hand
and Holmes counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cannon avoids a kick to the body.

Cannon closes the distance and pushes Holmes back into the cage.
Cannon is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Holmes pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Cannon tries to throw a body punch but Holmes avoids it by throwing Cannon back against the cage.
Holmes scores with a hook to the body.
Holmes tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Cannon's elbow.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Holmes.
Holmes misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Holmes breaks the clinch.
Holmes scores with a nice body kick.
Holmes throws a nice outside leg kick.
Holmes throws a leg kick but Cannon checks it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cannon takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Cannon looks gassed!
Cannon moves in looking to clinch but Holmes pushes him off.
Cannon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Holmes swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Holmes slips under a jab from Cannon.
Holmes punishes Cannon's body with a nice straight punch.
Holmes lands a nice shot to the body.
Holmes uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Cannon has time to react.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A shot to the liver by Holmes. Beautiful body shot.
Holmes with a body punch. A glancing blow.
A slapping body kick lands there for Holmes.
Holmes misses the shot to the body.
Cannon on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Holmes scores with the left hand. Cannon knows he should have avoided that one.
Holmes digs a good hook to Cannon's body.
Holmes throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Holmes throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Cannon on the side of the head.
Holmes swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Holmes scoring well with a low kick there.
Holmes throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Salvador Cannon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Holmes clobbers Cannon with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Holmes fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Cannon has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Holmes.
Holmes takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Holmes cracks the inside of Cannon's front leg.
Cannon on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Holmes. Holmes obviously looking to wear him down.
Holmes comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
A chopping leg kick lands by Holmes.
Holmes lands a nice leg kick that just misses Cannon's sensitive parts.
Holmes cracks Cannon with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Holmes drops Cannon with a straight right hand, right on the button! Holmes follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
