Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diamond Shuey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Lother (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Diamond Shuey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tom Lother!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Damien Edna and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lother walks into a jab.
Lother falls off balance throwing a combination
and Shuey counters with a right hand to the body.
Lother connects with the punch.

It looks like Diamond Shuey has been cut.
Shuey takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Lother throws a nice looking combination but Shuey bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Shuey shoots in and bounces Lother off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Shuey stands up and waves to Lother to follow him.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Shuey is defended easily by Lother.
Lother looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Shuey misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Shuey shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lother but Lother pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Diamond Shuey. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Shuey lands a head kick. Lother smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Lother lands with a cross.
Lother misses with a kick to the body.
Lother throws a leg kick but Shuey sees it coming and moves out of range.
A head kick by Lother misses

and Shuey counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Lother's guard now.
Lother really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shuey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lother looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Shuey seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Shuey postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Diamond Shuey has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Shuey fails to land the takedown.
Shuey moves out of range as Lother throws a body kick.

Shuey takes the fight into the clinch.
Shuey lands a nice uppercut.
Shuey is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Lother gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Shuey dodges an elbow strike from Lother.
Lother is trying to break the clinch but Shuey is controlling him.
Shuey really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Shuey manages to break the clinch.
Lother tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lother misses with a double jab.

Shuey gets a takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Shuey gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

Shuey shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lother but Lother pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Shuey changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lother looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Shuey is working to tighten is grip on Lother's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Lother has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Shuey is really squeezing tight and eventually Lother passes out! Shuey breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
