The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Strong.
Strong shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Blood sprawls well. Blood wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Strong gets slowly back to his feet.
Strong will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ben Strong. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Strong doesn't manage to clinch there - Blood circles away.

Strong tries to clinch up
and Blood counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Ben Strong has been cut.
The fight stays on the outside here - Strong looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Strong moves away from the strike by Blood.

Strong fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Blood listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

Strong shoots for a double leg takedown but Blood sprawls well. He's pushed Strong's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Strong is breathing heavily.
Strong fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Blood checks it well.
Strong closes the distance looking to clinch
and Blood counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Strong has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
