Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jay Firestone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Aaron Miller!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Skip Squint and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller keeps the fight on the outside.
Firestone is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Firestone tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Miller paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Firestone fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Firestone tries to clinch up but Miller circles away and keeps his distance.
Firestone tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Miller manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Miller throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Firestone's waist but Firestone gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Miller off to one side.

Miller wants to lay and pray for a moment but Firestone keeps working.
Miller might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Firestone kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Firestone avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Miller.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Miller shoots in and gets a takedown into Firestone's guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Miller throws a sloppy head kick and Firestone moves out of range easily.
Miller keeps the fight on the outside.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Miller.
Firestone tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Miller manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

No joy there for Miller, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Firestone takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Miller decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Firestone has hold of Miller's hands but Miller slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Miller seems to be looking for submissions.
Miller thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Firestone's head.
Miller wants to take a breather but Firestone is having none of it.

Miller throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Firestone gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Miller to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Miller tries to free his leg and advance position but Firestone is retaining full guard.

Firestone throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Miller tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Firestone is in Miller's guard.

Firestone wants to get up but he can't break Miller's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
