The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Johnny Lee Paris.
Ironside turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Ironside clobbers Paris with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Ironside has momentary wrist control but Paris slips an elbow through the middle.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Paris wants to control from the top but Ironside keeps moving.

Ironside is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Paris stays in close to Ironside's body and controls the position.

Ironside is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Paris is aware though and is defending well.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Ironside holds on and takes a little breather.

Paris tries to lock up and control but Ironside gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Ironside sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Paris is looking to improve his position but Ironside isn't that keen on the idea.
Paris is bucking up trying to escape but Ironside cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Bjorn Ironside really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that 5th Round Clothing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
