The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Doug Graves has been cut.
Nice body kick there by Graves.
A punch combination from Gracie misses.
Gracie takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gracie throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Graves counters with a nice low kick that buckles Gracie's knee momentarily.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
Gracie takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Gracie with a poor takedown
and Graves counters with a three punch combo that has Gracie backing up. Gracie nods at Graves to acknowledge the strikes.
Donk. Graves catches Gracie right on the button with a cross.
Graves drops Gracie with a straight right hand, right on the button! Graves follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Doug Graves!
After winning the bout, Doug Graves thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
