The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shakalaka lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Shakalaka.
Shakalaka smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Tamonta throws a leg kick but Shakalaka sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Shakalaka throws a head kick but Tamonta moves out of range.
Shakalaka misses with an attempted mid kick.

Shakalaka decides to pull guard.
Tamonta wants to control from the top but Shakalaka keeps moving.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Shakalaka can do anything to dispel that myth.
Shakalaka looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Tamonta thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Shakalaka not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Shakalaka can't keep his opponent in guard - Tamonta advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Tamonta prevents Shakalaka from improving his position.
Tamonta is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Tamonta has hold of Shakalaka's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Shakalaka manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
