Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hugo Panzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Karolin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Panzer comes to the cage accompanied by beat the devil's tattoo. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

It looks like Victor Karolin has been cut.

Panzer throws a left that rocks Karolin and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Panzer dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Karolin regain composure!

Panzer tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Karolin is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Panzer is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Karolin seems to have recovered his senses.
Karolin makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Karolin.
Panzer wants to stand and escape but instead Karolin has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Panzer pushes Karolin off and scrambles back to his feet.

Karolin is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Panzer rushes Karolin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Karolin is trying to trip Panzer. He has hold of a leg but Panzer is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Karolin persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Karolin stands up and waves to Panzer to follow him.

Panzer tries to stand and escape but Karolin actually recovers to full guard.

Karolin is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Karolin is on top in guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Panzer pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Karolin has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Panzer after a bit of a struggle.

Karolin swings wildly with an uppercut but Panzer uses good head movement to avoid it.

Karolin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Karolin shoots in looking for a takedown. Panzer tries to sprawl out of it but Karolin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Panzer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Karolin takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Karolin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Panzer as he jumps to the side.
Karolin takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Panzer is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Karolin can do to turn this around?
Karolin is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Panzer steps into range and cracks Karolin with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Karolin flops backwards and Panzer dives into his guard looking to finish!

Panzer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Karolin on the ground.

Panzer is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Karolin.

Panzer steps in with a hook that catches Karolin right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Panzer follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Karolin looks absolutely devastated.
