Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rob Engle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mad Child (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rob Engle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mad Child!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paul Aken and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Engle scores a takedown into full mount!

Engle is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Child has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Engle working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Child really wants to buck Engle off and get back to his feet.
Child is looking to improve his position but Engle isn't that keen on the idea.

You get the feeling that Child really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Engle goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Child turns into him and now he's in Engle's guard.

Child gets to his feet - Engle follows without any prompting.

Child fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Engle shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Child defends it nicely.

Child is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Engle.

Engle throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Child's waist but Child gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Engle off to one side.
Child stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Child wants it to stay on the feet.

Child moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Engle stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Child swivels though and keeps the full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Child has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Engle has passed into side control.
Child is trying to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Rob Engle will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Engle's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Child connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Engle scrambles back to his feet.

Engle tries for a takedown but Child sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Child goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Child pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Engle back to the cage. Child follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Engle closes the distance and clinches up with Child, looking for a takedown. Engle pushes Child against the cage but Child circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Child misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Engle dodges the punch combination from Child.
Engle shoots in for a takedown but Child shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Child looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Donk. Child catches Engle right on the button with a cross.
Child throws a right and a left that both miss.
Engle takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Child cracks Engle with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Child misses with a few strikes there.
Engle slips a jab and a cross from Child.

Engle feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Child wants to stand but Engle is controlling the position.
Engle wants to control from the top but Child keeps moving.
Engle sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Child's guard.
Child is trying to maintain the position but Engle is very close to passing his half guard.
Child looks like he's trying to stand up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Engle wants to free his trapped foot but Child is holding on for dear life with his legs.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mad Child showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Engle is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Child has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Child!

Child scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Child throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Engle on the side of the head.
Engle closes this distance looking for a takedown but Child circles away.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Mad Child.
I think Child has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
