The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Surfer takes a body punch but keeps moving.
A leg kick checked by Rossi.
Rossi connects with an inside leg kick.
Surfer misses with a body kick.

Rossi lands a big head kick that sends Surfer tumbling to the mat! Rossi takes a step backwards and waves Surfer back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Surfer is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oh Surfer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Al Rossi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rossi cracks Surfer on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Surfer falls backwards against the cage. Rossi follows up with more strikes that drop Surfer to his knees. Rossi keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Surfer! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Al Rossi!
Al Rossi opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
