Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Jan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hale Erwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jan's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Judgment night by Biohazard&Onyx. Erwin has chosen Young Jeezy feat. T.I. - F.A.M.E. as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that John Jan has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily John Jan seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jan loads up on a big right hand but Erwin slips the punch.
Jan looks to land a left hand but Erwin moved out of range nicely.
Jan misses with a low kick.
Jan moves away from the strike by Erwin.
Good exchange - Erwin coming out on top.
Erwin takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Oooooh!!! Erwin has knocked Jan down with a huge combo! Erwin steps away and waves a wobbly Jan back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like John Jan has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A looping hook to the body misses from Jan. Erwin does a little dance to reset his feet.
Erwin bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Erwin throws a nice outside leg kick.
Erwin takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Jan lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

and Erwin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Jan throws a lazy right hand but Erwin sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Erwin looks to score with a jab to the body but Jan is just out of range.

A jab lands there for Jan.
Erwin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jan throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Erwin on the side of the head.

Erwin with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Jan to score with a decent uppercut.

Erwin does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Jan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Erwin manages to avoid it.

Erwin throws a sloppy head kick and Jan moves out of range easily.
Erwin lands with a shot to the body.
Jan is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Erwin throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Jan throws a combination. Erwin tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Jan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Erwin was well out of range. Poor timing from Jan.
Jan comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Jan lands a nice looking body kick.
Erwin looks gassed!
Jan fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Erwin has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Jan takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Jan works the jab nicely.
Jan throws a hook but Erwin avoids it easily.
Jan looks to land a combination. Erwin sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Jan feints a jab promting Erwin to slip. Jan then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Erwin slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Jan lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Erwin at a distance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Erwin is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Jan lands a really nice looking cross but Erwin seems unphased.

That has opened up Hale Erwin's cut even more.
Jan throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Erwin needs to keep his hands up - Jan had a free shot at his head there.
Erwin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Erwin steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Jan. That one must have hurt.
Erwin takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Erwin takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Erwin is breathing heavily.
Jan lands with a right hand.
Erwin blocks the body kick.
Jan scores with a shot to the body.

Jan lands with a hook. Erwin tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Erwin throws a big shot that misses.
Erwin moves forwards but Jan connects with a nice, crisp jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jan, as that shot connected.

A lazy left from Jan finds it's target.
Erwin is still on wobbly legs! Can Jan finish him?

The cut above Hale Erwin's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Erwin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jan wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Erwin seems to have recovered his senses.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Jan and Erwin goes tumbling to the canvas! Jan follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Jan thows a huge punch but Erwin dodges it nicely.
Jan wants to pass the guard but Erwin is defending well.

Jan is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Jan sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Erwin defending well though.
Jan is looking to take a break and control but Erwin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Erwin keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Jan thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Erwin's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jan uses his free foot to push down on Erwin's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Erwin.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Hale Erwin's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
