Tummutti kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Tiamat - Cain. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tummutti needs to keep his hands up - McKenzie had a free shot at his head there.
McKenzie pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Paul McKenzie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McKenzie lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Tummutti shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Tummutti was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Tummutti gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Tummutti shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Tummutti was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Tummutti feints and as McKenzie raises his hands in defense, Tummutti changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Tummutti decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Tummutti decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

McKenzie closes the distance and lands a one-two.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McKenzie wants to control but Tummutti is keeping busy and won't allow it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Tummutti is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. McKenzie can't fight it off and eventually Tummutti manages to take the fight to the floor. McKenzie looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
McKenzie controls Tummutti momentarily but Tummutti frees himself.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

McKenzie throws a half hearted mid kick.

Tummutti closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Tummutti is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
McKenzie trying to control but Tummutti postures up.

Tummutti wants to stand but McKenzie has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
McKenzie is looking to escape.

Tummutti decides to stand and escape the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Tummutti shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in McKenzie's guard.
Tummutti has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
McKenzie has a closed guard, preventing Tummutti from standing up.
Tummutti prevents McKenzie from getting back to his feet.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Tummutti, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
