Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Filho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and True Blue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blue shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Filho as he avoids it easily.

Blue drives through and clinches with Filho against the cage.
Filho drops down looking for an ankle pick but Blue pulls his leg out and moves away.
Filho doesn't manage to clinch there - Blue circles away.
Blue throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Filho.

Filho swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Blue counters with a right hand to the body.
Blue throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Filho's waist but Filho gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Blue off to one side.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Filho is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Blue defends it well.

Filho decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Filho pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Filho has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Blue's face.

so Filho counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Blue is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Filho is controlling him.

Filho drops back looking for a leg! Blue is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Blue manages to kick Filho off! Filho jumps back into Blue's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Filho accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Blue is looking to defend but Filho has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Blue! Filho pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Blue taps out and this one is all over!
