Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Lother (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cassio Venas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Venas has chosen Darude - Sandstorm (Wanderlei Silva Theme) as his entrance music. Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lother tries to clinch there but Venas circles away.
Venas looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Venas looks to land a left hand but Lother moved out of range nicely.
Lother thuds his shin into the meat of Venas's side.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Venas crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Lother - the referee stops the clock and Venas gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Lother. Venas manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Venas should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
