Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Joseph Bruce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Sagat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sagat has chosen Top Shotter as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joseph Bruce!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Victor Sagat!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bruce misses with a looping left.
Sagat avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bruce looks to land a combination but Sagat avoids it well.
Bruce thuds his right hand into Sagat's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Sagat lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Crunch! Sagat slams his shin into Bruce's torso.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bruce crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Sagat - the referee stops the clock and Bruce gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Sagat. Bruce manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Sagat - that will leave a mark!
Bruce is breathing heavily.
Bruce avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The fighters circling - Bruce throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Sagat tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bruce throws a jab but it's blocked by Sagat.
Sagat connects with the punch.
Bruce looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bruce on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Sagat lands a nice leg kick that just misses Bruce's sensitive parts.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bruce throws a hook but Sagat blocks it.
The crowd cheers as Sagat lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bruce doesn't seem phased though.
Sagat scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Sagat lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Sagat connects with an inside leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bruce closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Sagat tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Bruce manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Sagat.
Bruce circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bruce takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Sagat is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Sagat clobbers Bruce with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Joseph Bruce has been cut.
Sagat cracks Bruce with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Bruce is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Bruce is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Bruce could not beat the count!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Victor Sagat!
A relieved looking Victor Sagat thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
