The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiptyr throws a left and a right that both miss

and Thompson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kiptyr's guard now.
Thompson stands up over Kiptyr, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
