Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ushio Obake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shaka Zulu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Zulu's choice of entrance music: HI REZ smiling. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zulu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Zulu throws a wild body kick that Obake sees coming a mile off.

Zulu shoots in and gets a takedown into Obake's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Obake wants to sweep but no luck.

Obake is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Zulu postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Obake is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Zulu, into his guard.
Obake keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Zulu's head.
Obake slips nicely into half guard.
Zulu is in trouble now - Obake has advanced to mount!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Obake prevents Zulu from getting the reversal.
Obake has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Obake scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Obake lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Zulu hang on?
Obake breaks from Zulu's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Zulu is wriggling around trying to escape.
Zulu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Obake. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Obake connects with a nice short shot to Zulu's temple.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zulu tries to roll over but Obake keeps him under control.

Obake has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Zulu defend it? Obake steps over the head and cranks it - Zulu is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Obake!
