Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Jacob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Minitauro Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Jacob!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Minitauro Silva!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jonathan Paton and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Jacob swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jacob tries for a takedown but Silva sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jacob lands a left and a right that sends Silva crashing to the canvas! Jacob dives into mount looking to finish!
Silva is rocked!
Jacob tries to control but Silva wriggling away.
Silva is still in real trouble! Can Jacob finish him?
Jacob looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Silva seems to have recovered his senses.
Silva tries to reverse the position but Jacob maintains control.
Silva bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Jacob has a closed guard, preventing Silva from standing up.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Silva drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Jacob dives on top into guard.
Jacob loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jacob throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Jacob trying to control but Silva is working from the bottom.
Silva looking for a sweep. Not yet Silva, not yet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Silva throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Silva has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jacob can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Silva looks gassed!
Jacob trying to stand up but can't free himself from Silva's guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Nice takedown defense from Jacob. No joy for Silva on that attempt.

Silva takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Silva misses with a takedown
and Jacob counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Silva is looking for a triangle here but Jacob uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Silva is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Jacob has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Silva is trying to get back to full guard.
Silva looking for submissions off his back.
Silva regains full guard. Nicely done.

Silva looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Jacob is defending well. Silva quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Jacob has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Silva celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
