Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tirolesa changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Schill looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Tirolesa tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Schill is looking for a sweep.
Schill wants to control but Tirolesa postures up.
Tirolesa tries to move to mount but Schill blocks the move with his legs.

Schill knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tirolesa on the ground.
Schill is not content to let Tirolesa control the position.

Tirolesa wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Schill, who protects the arm well.

Schill looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Schill seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tirolesa does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Monty Schill.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tirolesa has his foot on Schill's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Schill works his way back into a safe position though.

Tirolesa working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Schill doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Schill manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Schill has control of Tirolesa's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Tirolesa regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Schill loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Tirolesa scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Schill land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Schill stands and salutes the crowd.
