Koylio kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is I'm Shipping Up To Boston - Dropkick Murphys. Lalli Koylio has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Koylio fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jarvijallikka sprawls well initially but Koylio persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Koylio is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jarvijallikka is just riding it out for now. Koylio eventually gives up the hold.

Koylio is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jarvijallikka defends it well.
Koylio has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Koylio shoots in looking for a takedown. Jarvijallikka tries to sprawl out of it but Koylio keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jarvijallikka manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
