Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bud Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felipe Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man avoids the head kick by Silva.
Man shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

so Silva counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Man has a closed guard, preventing Silva from standing up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Silva decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Silva looks for the body kick but Man saw that one coming.
Silva throws a sloppy body shot
and Man counters with a stiff right hand.
Man shoots in for a takedown but Silva shows good takedown defense.
Man doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Silva counters with a shoot takedown. Man fights it but they end up in guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bud Man. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silva is stalling in the full guard.
Silva postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Man can't keep his opponent in guard - Silva advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Silva controlling the pace.
Silva's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Man wants to get back to full guard but Silva has passed into side control.
Silva remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Silva connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Man some visible discomfort.
Silva tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Silva gets to mount! Man was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Man defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Silva.
