Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Russel Ebert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alun James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ebert's entrance music is Mean Street - Van Halen. A fine choice. James is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Carry Me Home. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 22 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alun James!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Skip Squint and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ebert throws a combination but it was largely blocked by James.

That was a close second round but I would say that Russel Ebert will probably get the nod.

A relieved looking Alun James thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
