The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendricks throws a head kick that misses.
Hendricks fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Williams looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Williams lands a nice looking kick to the body. Hendricks takes a step back to recover.
Hendricks shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Williams defends it nicely.
Williams pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Hendricks tries for a takedown but Williams sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Williams bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hendricks's guard.

Williams might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hendricks kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Williams tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Williams has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Williams wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hendricks, who protects the arm well.

Williams is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hendricks has escaped the position, nice work there.
Williams in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Williams wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hendricks keeps working.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hendricks is looking for a sweep.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Williams shoots for a double leg takedown but Hendricks sprawls well. He's pushed Williams's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Williams finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Williams stuffs the takedown attempt from Hendricks. Hendricks gets slowly back to his feet.
Williams ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hendricks moves away.
Williams slaps away a takedown attempt from Hendricks, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Williams throws a leg kick but Hendricks checks it.

Hendricks fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Williams avoids it really well and circles away.

Williams is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hendricks.

Williams fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hendricks, pushing him back against the cage.
Hendricks goes for a takedown attempt but Williams pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Williams fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hendricks manages to avoid it.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Williams.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hendricks tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Williams wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Hendricks managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Williams.
Jeff Williams has got the better of the ground game so far.
Williams postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Williams tries to advance to mount but can't.
Williams is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Hendricks is trying to escape and Williams transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Hendricks is forced to tap! Nice work there by Williams! Very nice indeed!

Jeff Williams decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
