Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ben Penties (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jones Indiana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Indiana is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Indiana Tribute. Ben Penties looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penties gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Indiana cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Penties leaves Indiana with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Penties circles away from the clinch attempt

and Penties counters by clinching up.

Penties gets control of Indiana's arms and successfully pulls guard. Penties will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Indiana is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Indiana gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Some bone on bone action there as Penties checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Indiana shoots in and drives through. Penties sprawls well.

Penties darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Penties seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Indiana keeps control of the position for the meantime.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Penties is trying for a kimura here. Indiana looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Penties wins by kimura!
