Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vladameir Fermazi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shom Harnick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vladameir Fermazi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Shom Harnick!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harnick throws a head kick that misses
and Fermazi counters with a leg kick.
Fermazi lands a head kick!
Harnick fails with a takedown attempt.
Fermazi takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Harnick tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Fermazi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Harnick gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Harnick has managed to clinch.

Harnick's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Harnick tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Harnick pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Harnick shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fermazi but Fermazi pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Fermazi connects with a looping right hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Harnick shoots in and drives through. Fermazi sprawls well.
Vladameir Fermazi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shom Harnick.
Harnick rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fermazi moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Fermazi lands a right hook to the body.
Harnick fails with the takedown
and Fermazi counters with a stiff right hand.
Harnick misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Fermazi counters with an inside leg kick.
Harnick looks gassed!
Fermazi looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Fermazi throws a chopping leg kick but Harnick manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Fermazi circles away from the clinch attempt.
Fermazi avoids the head kick by Harnick.
Fermazi throws a quick inside leg kick.
Fermazi is looking to slow Harnick down with leg kicks.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Harnick takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
A head kick by Harnick misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Harnick misses with a takedown attempt
and Fermazi counters with a nice low kick that buckles Harnick's knee momentarily.
That kick from Fermazi tenderised Harnick's leg. Harnick is trying to keep his angry face on.
Harnick tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Harnick crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Fermazi - the referee stops the clock and Harnick gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Fermazi. Harnick manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Fermazi throws a head kick that half lands.
Fermazi throws a head kick but Harnick moves out of range.
Harnick is trying desperately to land a takedown but Fermazi is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Harnick.
Fermazi scores with a kick to the body.
Fermazi keeps the fight on the outside.
Harnick takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Fermazi lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Fermazi thumps Harnick with a low kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fermazi throws a quick inside leg kick.
Fermazi throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Nice shot lands for Fermazi.
Harnick takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Harnick throws a half hearted mid kick.
Harnick's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Fermazi thows a body kick. Harnick tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Fermazi thumps Harnick with a low kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Harnick on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Fermazi. Fermazi obviously looking to wear him down.
Fermazi scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Fermazi lands a big head kick that sends Harnick tumbling to the mat! Fermazi takes a step backwards and waves Harnick back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Harnick is rocked!


It looks like Shom Harnick has been cut.
Fermazi lands a leg kick that knocks Harnick off balance momentarily.
Harnick is still on wobbly legs! Can Fermazi finish him?
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Fermazi! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Vladameir Fermazi!
After the fight, Vladameir Fermazi was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
