Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Grimey Wall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ontario Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ontario Jones!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Alyssa Summers and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wall blocks a jab.
Jones throws a jab but it's blocked by Wall.
Jones misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jones. Wall does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jones misses with a jab, cross combination.
Some wild striking there from Jones.
Jones misses with a wild combination.
Jones misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jones misses with an uppercut. Wall saw that one coming.

Jones gets a double leg takedown into Wall's guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Wall holds on and takes a little breather.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Wall drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Wall could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Jones preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Wall trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Wall stays in close to Jones's body and controls the position.
Wall trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom.
Wall with a flurry of punches that miss.
Wall might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Wall trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Jones avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Wall connects with a couple of short punches.
Wall is in close to Jones's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Wall postures up and lands a big shot to Jones's brow.
Wall slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Wall postures up in Jones's guard and throws a big left but Jones blocks it.
Wall tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard.
Wall scoring with punches to the head and body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jones doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wall trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Grimey Wall dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Wall swats away the attempt to clinch by Jones.

A big left from Jones misses.
Jones lands a nice hook to Wall's body. Wall takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
No joy there for Jones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A bone on bone clash there as Jones blocks the leg kick.

Jones looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Jones is breathing heavily.
Wall looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Jones puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Wall works his way to full guard. Good work.
Wall pulls Jones in close to prevent any damage.
Wall's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Wall bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jones's guard.
Wall throwing strikes but missing.
Wall is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Wall looking to pass the guard.
Wall throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jones works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Wall throws a big right hand that misses.
Wall advances to half guard.
Jones missing with punches from the bottom.
Wall stalling.
Wall thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Wall tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jones knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Wall working the head and body with strikes.
Wall not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Wall is trying to control the action in half guard but Jones is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Wall thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jones's head.
Grimey Wall overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Wall throwing shots but Jones is blocking nicely.
Jones blocking the ground and pound attempt from Wall.
Wall with the ground and pound but Jones uses the opportunity to regain guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Wall lands a couple of digs.
Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wall. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wall is stalling in the full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Jones doesn't manage to clinch there - Wall circles away.
Grimey Wall is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jones misses with a series of wild punches.

Jones looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Wall has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Wall is pressing down on Jones's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Jones takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Wall holds on and takes a little breather.

We're going to have a standup here because Grimey Wall wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Jones throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jones looks to throw the jab but Wall is out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wall avoids a punch combination nicely.

Wall gets caught flat footed, as Jones shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Wall has his foot on Jones's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jones works his way back into a safe position though.
Wall keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Wall looking for a sweep. Not yet Wall, not yet.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Ontario Jones was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Wall throws a head kick that misses.

Jones wants to clinch up but Wall keeps it at a distance.
A combination from Jones does no damage.
Jones throws a series of punches but Wall moves out of range.
Wall throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Wall takes a swing at Jones's ribcage but misses.

Jones gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Wall drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jones looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jones looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jones!
Wall is not content to let Jones control the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Jones wants to stand but Wall has his arm trapped.
Ontario Jones has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Grimey Wall is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Wall wants to control but Jones postures up.

And that's the end of the fight!
Ontario Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Wall has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
