Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Beck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alistair Overeem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Beck might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Seek and Destroy. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Overeem closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Beck is looking for a sweep.
Overeem tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Overeem really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Beck. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Overeem can do anything to dispel that myth.
Beck wants to lay and pray for a moment but Overeem keeps working.
