Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joey Rodinerio Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bravo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Damian Marley - Confrontation. Black has chosen Disturbed - Indestructible as his entrance music. Matt Black will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joey Rodinerio Bravo !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matt Black!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bravo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Black tries to avoid it but Bravo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Black to the ground. Black escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bravo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Black sprawls well initially but Bravo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Bravo is pressing down on Black's thigh, looking to free his foot. Black is holding on for now.
Bravo is working for a kimura but Black is defending it quite comfortably.
Black is not content to let Bravo control the position.
Bravo works his foot free and advances to mount.

Black tries to hold on but Bravo postures up.

Black defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Bravo .
Bravo goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Black is on top in guard.

Bravo has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Black is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Bravo .
Bravo sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Bravo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Bravo is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Black to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Black shrugs it off.
Black is looking to get to half guard.
Bravo moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Black has worked his arm free - good work by Black!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Black keeps Bravo under control for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bravo is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Black is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Black wants to control but Bravo postures up.
Bravo is trying to get an arm triangle but Black is defending well.
Bravo working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bravo goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Black rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Bravo 's guard! Nice work there by Black!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bravo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Black was covering up waiting for the punch and Bravo finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Bravo postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Black is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bravo , into his guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Joey Rodinerio Bravo will probably get the nod.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bravo , winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
