Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Franklyn Lucas and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black throws a series of punches but Silva avoids them all with ease.
Silva is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Silva takes a jab right on the kisser.
Silva tries to score a power double leg takedown but Black sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Silva somewhat.
Black moves into the clinch successfully.
Silva pushes off an throws an elbow but Black leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Black escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Black tries to clinch but Silva moves out of range.
Silva keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Black.

Silva shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Black as he avoids it easily.

Silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Black sprawls well. He's pushed Silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Black throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Silva was covering up waiting for the punch and Black finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Black connects with a nice short shot to Silva's temple.
Black slips a nice elbow through Silva's hands, connecting with Silva's forehead.
Black is figuring out what he wants to do next.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
