Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Lindros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miksu Rupunen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rupunen has chosen Johnny Cash - God's Gonna Cut You Down as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

18 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Miksu Rupunen!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindros throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rupunen.
A punch combination from Rupunen misses.
Lindros looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Eric Lindros seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lindros swinging wildly here.
Lindros ducks under a wild hook from Rupunen.
Rupunen misses with a double jab.
Lindros bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Rupunen's head backwards.
Lindros lands a really nice looking cross but Rupunen seems unphased.
Rupunen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lindros stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lindros wants it to stay on the feet.
Rupunen throws out a loose jab but Lindros uses good head movement to avoid it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rupunen gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Rupunen misses with a few strikes there.
Lindros moves out of range of the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rupunen shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Rupunen is rocked!
Rupunen on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Rupunen slips a jab and a cross from Lindros.
Rupunen looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Rupunen is still on wobbly legs! Can Lindros finish him?
Lindros fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Rupunen to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Rupunen looks to clinch but Lindros throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Rupunen taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Eric Lindros!
Eric Lindros retains his light heavyweight title!
Eric Lindros bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
