James gets tackled into the cage by Perry. Perry maintains the clinch.
Perry goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

James lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Perry is looking for a sweep. James is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
James content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
James wants to pass to mount but Perry is defending the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Perry is looking to escape.
James uses his free foot to push down on Perry's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Perry.
James fails to take his opponent's back.

James won't let Perry get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
James tries to control but Perry wriggling away.

James jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Perry is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Perry and James has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

James tries to advance to mount but can't.
Perry is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but James is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Perry wants to control but James is having none of it.

James is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by James!
