Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maunu Tua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Van Gogh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Van Gogh has chosen Carl Orff - O Fortuna as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice combination there by Van Gogh.
A jab from Van Gogh finds it's way through Tua's defenses.
Van Gogh throws a low kick but Tua moves out of range easily.
Tua takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Van Gogh throws a shot from downtown. Tua moves away and avoids it.
Van Gogh scores with the left hand. Tua knows he should have avoided that one.
Tua on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Tua takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tua takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Van Gogh throws a head kick that misses.
Van Gogh connects with a leg kick. Tua looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Van Gogh fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Tua to the ground. Van Gogh is now in Tua's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tua closes the distance and clinches.
Tua stalling in the clinch but Van Gogh improves position.

Tua tries to work over Van Gogh's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Van Gogh swings wildly with an uppercut but Tua uses good head movement to avoid it.

Tua is rocked!
Van Gogh creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Tua with a big uppercut! Tua tries to clinch up but Van Gogh pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Tua to the mat! Tua covers up and Van Gogh unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
