The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gerbe throws a front kick that sends Kunnas stumbling back into the cage.
Kunnas swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Kunnas takes a swing at Gerbe's ribcage but misses.
Kunnas tries a head kick but it misses.
Kunnas moves out of range of the body kick from Gerbe.
Kunnas throws a jab when Gerbe was well out of range.
Gerbe takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

It looks like Tyler Gerbe has been cut.
Kunnas is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kunnas swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Gerbe chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Gerbe displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kunnas throws out the jab.

Oooooh!!! Kunnas has knocked Gerbe down with a huge combo! Kunnas steps away and waves a wobbly Gerbe back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Gerbe throws a head kick that misses.

Kunnas feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Gerbe sprawling to the canvas! Gerbe rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kunnas finish him?!

Gerbe is rocked!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Gerbe.

Kunnas misses with a hook.
Kunnas feints with a jab and clips Gerbe right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Gerbe is sent crashing into the canvas and Kunnas leaps in for the kill! Gerbe tries to get to his feet but Kunnas is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Gerbe is in need of a savior and steps in!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Karl Kunnas!
