The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Task instigates a clinch.
Task lands with a left to the head.
Task with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
It looks like Harri Haikala has been cut.
Task is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Haikala is defending well for now.
Task lands a body punch in the clinch.
Task tries a knee to the head but Haikala blocks it.

Haikala throws a body punch but Task moves out of range.
Task doesn't manage to clinch there - Haikala circles away.
Haikala avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Haikala lands a glancing blow to the side of Task's head.

Harri Haikala is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Haikala throws a big shot that misses.
Task slips a jab from Haikala.
Haikala lands with a thumping leg kick.

Haikala stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Haikala wants it to stay on the feet.
Task has managed to clinch.
Haikala is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Haikala manages to break the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Task moves into the clinch.
Haikala is pressed up against the cage. Task has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Haikala down to the mat. Haikala avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Task changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Haikala tries to avoid it but Task manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Haikala to the ground. Haikala escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Random Task. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Task uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Haikala.
No joy there for Haikala, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Haikala swings for the body but Task moves out of range.
Task tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Haikala counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Task thinking.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Task shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Haikala pinned against the cage. Haikala gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Haikala ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Task is breathing heavily.
Haikala scores with a hook.
Task closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Task takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Task tries to clinch up
and Haikala counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
BOOM! Haikala lands a beautiful left hook that drops Task. Task tries to recover but Haikala is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Task lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Harri Haikala!
