The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beach showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Strauss.
Beach goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Beach defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Strauss.
Johan Strauss seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Beach throws a head kick that half lands.
Beach is looking to clinch but Strauss is avoiding it.

Strauss is looking to work some ground and pound but Beach has wrist control.

Strauss wants to pass the guard but Beach is keeping the position.
Strauss throws a strike but Beach rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Strauss is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Beach stands up and waves to Strauss to follow him.
Strauss swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Beach misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
No joy there for Strauss, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Strauss shoots in and bounces Beach off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Beach on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Beach tries to get out of the position.
Strauss is looking to advance position but Beach has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

A close round but Johan Strauss will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Beach has taken the fight to the clinch.
Beach keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Strauss's efforts to push away.
Strauss takes an elbow to the forehead.

It looks like Johan Strauss has been cut.
Strauss avoiding damage as Beach throws knees to the body.
Strauss wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Beach has him pressed against the cage.
Strauss is trying to stall.
Beach lands an elbow that stopped Strauss in his tracks for a moment.
Beach lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Strauss wants to get back to striking at distance but Beach won't allow it.
Beach utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Strauss jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Beach walks away with a smile on his face. Strauss gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Beach is looking to clinch but Strauss is avoiding it.

Strauss shoots in and drives through. Beach sprawls well.

Beach lands a big head kick that sends Strauss tumbling to the mat! Beach takes a step backwards and waves Strauss back to his feet - he wants the finish!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Horrible takedown by Strauss or perhaps it was just good defense by Beach which made him look bad.

Strauss is breathing heavily.
Strauss shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Beach as he avoids it easily.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Beach throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Strauss is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). August Beach!
August Beach spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
