The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bennett misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Vilain.
Bennett misses with an uppercut.
Vilain tries to clinch up but Bennett circles away and keeps his distance.
Bennett throws the left hand but Vilain avoids the punch easily.
Bennett scores with a nice strike.
Bennett is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Vilain's half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Vilain is trying to get back to full guard.

Bennett is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Vilain to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Vilain shrugs it off.

Bennett cracks Vilain with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Bennett connects with a bit shot that sees Vilain covering up! More strikes from Bennett and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Bennett is our winner by TKO!
