Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John YJ!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Ren Mimura and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oswell misses with a jab, cross combination.
YJ fails to land the takedown.
Some wild striking there from Oswell.
Oswell throws a series of punches but YJ moves out of range.
Oswell swinging wildly here.
YJ clinches up with Oswell and pushes him back against the cage.
YJ wants to take the fight to the mat but Oswell manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

YJ pushes off an throws an elbow but Oswell leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
YJ slows down the pace here.
YJ has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Oswell after a bit of a struggle.
Spencer Oswell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John YJ.
YJ goes for a takedown in the clinch but Oswell prevents it.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
YJ tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Oswell just stands there and leans against the cage.
Oswell wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
YJ stalling.

Oswell breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
YJ looks to clinch
and Oswell counters with a one-two to the body.
Oswell looks to land a combination but YJ avoids it well.
YJ is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Oswell throws a right and a left that both miss.
Danga de danga de dang - Oswell scores with a four punch combination!
YJ is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
No luck with that takedown attempt from YJ.
YJ darts in trying to clinch
and YJ takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
YJ is still on wobbly legs! Can Oswell finish him?
Oswell fails to land with a series of punches.
YJ seems to have recovered his senses.
Oswell stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Oswell wants it to stay on the feet.
YJ looks gassed!
YJ tries to clinch up.
YJ wants to clinch but Oswell slips to the side
and Oswell makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Oswell misses with the combination.
Oswell scores with a body shot.

and Oswell counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops YJ! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Oswell!

In his post fight interview, Spencer Oswell started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
