The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from The Beast.
The Beast throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Padalski.
A slow jab from Padalski misses its intended target.
The Beast lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The Beast closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Padalski closes this distance looking for a takedown but The Beast circles away.
The Beast swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Padalski counters with a three punch combo that has The Beast backing up. The Beast nods at Padalski to acknowledge the strikes.
The Beast tries to clinch up
and Padalski counters with a good, hard body kick but The Beast shrugs it off.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Padalski slips a jab and a cross from The Beast.
The Beast lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Padalski circles away quickly and effectively.
Padalski feints and then cracks The Beast's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow The Beast down.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Padalski lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and The Beast has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from The Beast and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Padalski shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. The Beast manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Padalski pushes down on The Beast's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Padalski is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Padalski is working for a kimura but The Beast is defending it quite comfortably.

Padalski is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The Beast knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Padalski on the ground.
The Beast has a hand on Padalski's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Padalski takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Padalski is looking for the choke from the back position but The Beast is controlling his hands well.
The Beast could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Padalski looking to break The Beast's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. The Beast remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Padalski will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Padalski has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. The Beast is defending well but eventually Padalski manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! The Beast has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
