Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joe Camel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Dingo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dingo has chosen Carl Orff - O Fortuna as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Camel !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Matt Dingo!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Joseph Jones and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dingo throws a combination that misses
letting Camel counter with a right hand.
Camel fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Dingo misses with a looping right.
Dingo takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Dingo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Camel paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Camel tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dingo was well out of range. Poor timing from Camel .
Dingo scores with a jab to the body.
Camel throws a jab when Dingo was well out of range.
Dingo throws a body kick that misses.
Camel scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Camel walks into a stiff left hand from Dingo.
Dingo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Camel moves away.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Dingo lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Camel backwards.
Camel can't get the takedown.

A short body shot lands from Dingo as the two fighters clinch.
A short left from Dingo.
A right hook to the body lands for Dingo.
A nice left hand lands by Dingo.
Dingo is working Camel over against the cage.
Dingo scores with a shoulder strike.
Camel is trying to pull guard but Dingo has him pressed against the cage.

Dingo lands a left hand that snaps the head of Camel backwards.
Camel is trying to maintain a safe position but Dingo gets an underhook and turns Camel into the cage.
A nice right hand lands inside from Dingo.
Dingo stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Camel goes for a takedown attempt but Dingo pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Camel . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dingo connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Dingo takes one on the button.
Camel fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dingo manages to avoid it.
Camel moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Dingo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dingo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dingo wants it to stay on the feet.
Dingo tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Dingo drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Camel wants to sweep here but Dingo controlling him for the moment.

Camel has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Dingo is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Camel .
The ground and pound from Dingo seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Dingo creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Sloppy strikes there by Dingo.
Dingo in side control lands a decent elbow.
Dingo throwing strikes but Camel manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Camel throws a strike aimed at the side of Dingo's head but Dingo avoids it well.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Camel in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Dingo is trying to control Camel 's posture but Camel avoids it.
Dingo tries to bench press Camel off him but Camel keeps the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Matt Dingo dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Dingo scores with a shot to the body.
A head kick from Dingo lands but Camel takes it in his stride.
Dingo loads up on a big right hand but Camel slips the punch.
Dingo chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Camel can pounce on him.
Camel blocks a jab.
Dingo lands with a cross.

Dingo looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Camel is not content to let Dingo control the position.

Dingo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Camel is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Dingo jumps into side control!

Dingo throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Camel works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Dingo looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Dingo wants to control but Camel is keeping him busy.
Matt Dingo has got the better of the ground game so far.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dingo is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Camel !
Dingo sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Dingo with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Dingo is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Camel has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Dingo lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Camel hang on?

Dingo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dingo breaks from Camel 's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Dingo can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Camel is looking to escape.
Camel is desperately trying to improve his position but Dingo has a good base and remains in mount.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Matt Dingo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Dingo is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Camel slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Dingo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Camel swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Dingo trying to control the position from guard on top but Camel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Camel is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Dingo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Joe Camel has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Dingo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Camel swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Matt Dingo is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Dingo won't allow Camel to sweep him here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dingo is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Matt Dingo wasn't active enough on the ground.

Dingo shoots in and bounces Camel off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Matt Dingo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Dingo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
