Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawk darts in and clinches BAR up against the cage.
BAR tries for a takedown. No joy.
Hawk manages to break the clinch.
Mike Hawk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Danga de danga de dang - Hawk scores with a four punch combination!
A punch combination from Hawk misses.
Hawk looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Hawk tries a head kick but it misses.
BAR looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Hawk wants to get back to his feet.
BAR thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Hawk looks like he's trying to stand up.
Hawk is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hawk has hold of BAR's hands but BAR slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

BAR has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
BAR drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hawk is trying to buck BAR off.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

BAR works to advance to full mount. Hawk defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
BAR won't let Hawk get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
BAR is landing with some decent strikes but Hawk is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

BAR lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Hawk defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from BAR.
Hawk trying desperately to get to his feet.
BAR trying to control but Hawk is having none of it.
Hawk squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
BAR is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hawk can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Hawk is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Hawk tries to buck BAR off but BAR takes his back!
BAR is punishing Hawk with strikes - can he finish him?!
BAR is looking for the choke from the back position but Hawk is controlling his hands well.
Hawk is trying to get back to his feet but BAR has full control of the position and if anything, Hawk has just worked his way into a worse spot.
BAR has his arm under Hawk's chin here. Game over son! BAR squeezes tightly and Hawk is forced to tap out!
