Washington comes to the cage accompanied by No Tears. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson tries to land a leg kick but Washington saw it coming and moves away.
Washington fails with a takedown attempt.
Washington slips a jab from Jackson.
Jackson leaves Washington with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

It looks like Michael Washington has been cut.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jackson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Washington closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Washington lands in his opponent's guard.

Washington is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Jackson to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Jackson shrugs it off.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Washington throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jackson's waist but Jackson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Washington off to one side.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
