Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Eleve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Todd King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Todd King will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Eleve looks to land a combination but King avoids it well.
King tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
King avoids the head kick by Eleve.
King fails with an attempt to clinch.
King is looking to clinch.
Eleve throws a head kick that misses.

Eleve changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. King looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Eleve working the ground and pound.
King looks to move to half guard but instead Eleve has passed into mount! Damn!
Eleve lands with some vicious ground and pound - can King hang on?
King tries to hold on but Eleve pushes him away.
Eleve punching from mount but King doing a good job of avoiding damage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

King keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Eleve fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
King is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
King is trying to stand.

King slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

Eleve postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for King to stand up.
King misses with a head kick.
Eleve blocks a head kick by King.

King scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

King moves into range and clinches up with Eleve.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Eleve wants to take the fight to the mat but King manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Eleve is breathing heavily.
King keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Eleve's efforts to push away.

King breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Eleve with a poor takedown
and King counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Eleve is lucky that one didn't land flush.
King throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Eleve's head.

It looks like David Eleve has been cut.

King lands a big head kick that sends Eleve tumbling to the mat! King takes a step backwards and waves Eleve back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Eleve is rocked!

Eleve tries to keep at a distance but King has taken the fight into the clinch.
Oh Eleve is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

King pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Eleve seems to have got his legs back now.
King scores with a kick to the midsection.
Eleve steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from King. That one must have hurt.
Todd King is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
King lands a high kick!

King moves into the clinch.

King manages to break the clinch.
Eleve takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

David Eleve's cut is getting worse.
King looks for a left high kick but can't connect. King backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Eleve's temple! It sends Eleve violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as King celebrates and the doctors try to help Eleve!
