Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergio Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Bartleby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lesnar might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Nelly - Just a Dream. The key to victory for Sergio Lesnar has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sergio Lesnar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marcus Bartleby!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Luis Engracia and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bartleby throws a hook but Lesnar avoids it easily.
Bartleby looks to score with a jab to the body but Lesnar is just out of range.
Lesnar keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Lesnar is looking to clinch but Bartleby is avoiding it.

Lesnar gets a clinch.
Lesnar tries to score a body lock takedown but Bartleby shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Lesnar unloads a knee to the mid-section. Bartleby lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Bartleby is trying to force a seperation but Lesnar has the dominant position.
Lesnar putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Bartleby in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Bartleby looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lesnar scores a nice knee to the body.

Lesnar pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lesnar misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bartleby.
Lesnar lands a glancing blow to the side of Bartleby's head.

Bartleby gets tackled into the cage by Lesnar. Lesnar maintains the clinch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Come on Bartleby - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Lesnar has clasped his hands together around Bartleby's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Lesnar advances nicely into full mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lesnar looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Lesnar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Lesnar working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lesnar controlling the pace for now.
Bartleby is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Lesnar pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Bartleby defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Lesnar.
Bartleby is looking to improve his position but Lesnar isn't that keen on the idea.
Bartleby is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lesnar lands with some strikes.
Bartleby is trying to escape the mount.

Lesnar wants to control the pace but Bartleby is squirming around nicely.
Lesnar has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bartleby's face.


It looks like Marcus Bartleby has been cut.
Lesnar will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Lesnar lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Bartleby hang on?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lesnar cracks Bartleby with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sergio Lesnar!
Sergio Lesnar took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'After being knocked out for the 3rd time, I realized I should train more boxing and MuayThai. I hope more and more striking in the future to win fights by knockout using my kicks and my punches. Thank you all and God be with you!'.
