The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smirnov looks to throw the jab but Praphasirirat is out of range.

Smirnov gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Smirnov lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Praphasirirat goes down and covers up as Smirnov starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!

Slava Smirnov decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
