Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Trent Severn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tong Van damm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Severn might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to White Zombie - Electric Head: The Extasy (Pt 2). Trent Severn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Trent Severn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tong Van damm!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Severn keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Severn fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Severn misses with a series of wild punches.
Severn goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Severn tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Van damm was well out of range. Poor timing from Severn.
Van damm shoots in for a takedown but Severn shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Severn misses with a wild body shot.
Van damm takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Severn keeps the fight on the outside.
Van damm throws the kick towards the body but Severn avoids it.
Severn just misses with a punch to the body.
Van damm throws a body kick that misses.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Some wild striking there from Severn.
Van damm slips under a jab.
Severn tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Van damm paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Severn misses with a looping left.
Severn lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Van damm dodges the punch combination from Severn.
Severn is looking to wear down Van damm with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Van damm fails with a takedown attempt.
Trent Severn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tong Van damm.
Van damm throws a head kick that misses.
Severn is looking to clinch but Van damm is avoiding it.

Severn feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Van damm sprawling to the canvas! Van damm rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Severn finish him?!


Van damm is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A looping hook to the body misses from Severn. Van damm does a little dance to reset his feet.
Van damm is still on wobbly legs! Can Severn finish him?
Trent Severn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
BAM! Severn delivers a spinning backfist that drops Van damm like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
