The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Morstan drops Papadopulos with a left right combo! Morstan follows him down to the ground into side control.

Papadopulos is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Morstan tries to get to his feet but Papadopulos is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Morstan in his guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Morstan lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Morstan.

Papadopulos dives in and grabs Morstan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Morstan pushes down on Papadopulos's head and hops out.

Papadopulos throws a leg kick but Morstan sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Morstan throws a nice looking combination but Papadopulos bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Morstan counters with a two punch combo.
Papadopulos tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Morstan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Papadopulos is looking to clinch but Morstan is avoiding it.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Papadopulos.
